Seven alternative ways to clean the oven

After cooking, we usually face a problem - how to clean the oven easily?

Sometimes this task is not easy, especially if we have to deal with the accumulated burnt fat. Instead of using strong detergents and chemicals that are harmful to both your inhalation and your skin, try the following alternative options:

  1. Mix water (1/4 cup), salt (1/4 cup) and baking soda (3/4 cup) to get a thick paste. Wipe the oven with a damp cloth/sponge and spread the paste over its entire surface. Leave it to act for one night, and in the morning wash. This method is most effective when the oven is not too dirty, so do it regularly.

  2. You can clean the brown grime from the oven window by diluting the soda bicarbonate in warm water. Apply the solution to the area and leave for 15 minutes. Then wipe it with a sponge.

  3. Use vinegar. Apply a small amount of liquid to the cooled surface of the oven and spread it with a damp cloth over the entire area. Allow it some time to act. If the dirt is little, you will be able to wipe the surface easily, but if it is a lot, you will also need a brush.

  4. Mix vinegar with baking soda. This will help remove even the oldest grime on the oven walls. Finally rinse with warm soapy water and it will shine again as new.

  5. In hot water, dilute some soap or dishwashing detergent. Apply it on the surfaces and put some of the liquid into a bowl (suitable for oven) in the middle of the oven. Then let the oven stand at 120 degrees for 30 minutes, not opening the door. Then open and wait for it to cool slightly. With a damp cloth remove the fat.

  6. In a bowl pour 1 liter of water and add one cup of vinegar. Put it in the oven and drop it at 150 degrees for 30 minutes. Then turn it off. While it is warm and wet, wipe the walls. If it is difficult, repeat the procedure with more vinegar.

  7. Dilute in water a baking powder or a mixture of lemon juice and soda for bread. Sprinkle the oven thoroughly with this solution and wait for a while. Then the accumulated dirt will be broken down into pieces that you will easily remove with a wet rag.
